COLLECTING ART

freelance | publication & exhibition | 2025

Transforming the University of Cincinnati’s 5,000-piece art collection into an accessible publication & exhibition that celebrates the university's artistic and cultural legacy.

I was responsible for carefully removing each artwork from its frame in Photoshop and hand color matching every image to its original piece. This meticulous process ensured the publication accurately reflected the University's art collection while maintaining consistency throughout print production.

The Collecting Art Timeline weaves together every artwork featured in the publication with global events, influential art movements, and milestones from the University of Cincinnati’s history. Chronologically organized and visually linked to each chapter, it serves as both a historical reference and a navigational tool, allowing readers to easily connect moments in time with the works explored throughout the book.

Collecting: Classical to Contemporary Art from the University of Cincinnati exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Center

Throughout this 2 year project, I helped lead the design of the publication from initial concept through final print production. Alongside Robert Probst, I developed the editorial grid system by hand, managed color accuracy and production files, and ensured every stage of the project remained aligned with the University of Cincinnati’s brand guidelines while delivering a cohesive, print-ready publication.
