I did not grow up knowing what design was. I just knew I loved to make things, collecting scraps, textures, and random objects and turning them into something meaningful. Over time, that instinct evolved into something deeper. During a period in my life where I felt overwhelmed and disconnected, design became a way to create structure, process emotion, and make sense of what I was experiencing. What started as a creative outlet turned into a way of thinking, and eventually, a career that allows me to help others do the same. Somewhere between making duct tape wallets in third grade and building full visual systems, things got a little more refined.

I studied Communication Design at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program, where I gained hands on experience working with teams at Procter and Gamble, Author by Humana, and Alternatives NY. Those experiences taught me how to balance strategy with storytelling and showed me that design is not just about making things look good, it is about making things work and feel right. Now, I run my own freelance practice where I collaborate with brands, individuals, and organizations who care deeply about what they are building, which usually makes the work a lot more fun and a lot more meaningful.

My work spans brand identity, visual systems, publication design, and storytelling driven projects, with a strong interest in long form content and helping people understand complex ideas without feeling overwhelmed. I spend a lot of time thinking about psychology, the nervous system, and how people actually experience design, not just how it looks on a screen. Whether I am building a brand, designing a book, or asking probably too many questions at the start of a project, my goal is always the same, to create work that feels thoughtful, clear, and deeply human.
